CHARITY

VOLUNTEERING

PRACTICAL TRAINING PLACEMENT

Core value underlying our Mission is commitment to Social Responsibilities. Rural communities in Ghana are not left out of our portfolio. In addition to empowering, provision of employment and a platform for the locals to engage their skills through our businesses, Tender hearts & Love Ghana foundation (https://www.tenderheartsghana.com - a branch of Sam Bogenfels) with our German partners runs an NGO focusing on training, provision of free amenities and goods (clothes, books, medicine etc) to these deprived rural areas in Ghana. Once a month, we embark on an alms giving trip to villages to give aids in all forms as applicable.
In addition, the holding in cooperation with seasoned partners like AprotechGhana/AprotechSam Centre, Tsinabew travel & tours and Millenia consortium has been offering placement slots to interested persons/foreign students from Europe and America to volunteer (in the classrooms, hospitals, orphanage, etc), enroll in training programs  and seminars that aim at using African materials to help refine the ways of the villagers in Ghana and in-depth exposure on African development studies & technologies. Further options are made available to students who prefer to add a touch of the conventional internship placement in any of the local Universities or companies with weekly travel/touring packages included.

This phase is run together with Dr. Kofi Sam (a seasoned University lecturer, industrialist, entrepreneur and philanthropist). Dr Sam’s development philosophy is simple: what the rural poor lack, above all, is opportunity. By giving them access to locally appropriate technologies and skills you can create the opportunities they need to work their way out of poverty. For over 30 years his Centre has sought to foster sustainable productive activity at grassroots levels by developing technologies that enable workers to overcome local constraints (like low capital stocks or lack of electricity), coordinating trade skills training and supporting the work of small-scale entrepreneurs who are developing innovative local solutions to the problems associated with poverty.

The Sam Bogenfels group believes it pays more to give than to take or receive on the hand.
